My name is Chelsea Aalim, a multimedia journalist, producer, and on-camera storyteller passionate about telling culture and community stories that feel real, relevant, and human.

What drives me is curiosity — about people, places, and the systems that shape our everyday lives.

I’m especially drawn to stories that sit at the intersection of culture, identity, and impact, whether that’s amplifying overlooked voices, documenting grassroots change, or exploring how entertainment, fashion, and community reflect larger social shifts.

My journalism journey began at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree and developed a strong foundation in storytelling, production, and media ethics. I went on to earn my master’s degree in Journalism from New York University, sharpening my reporting skills with a documentary-style approach rooted in character, context, and trust.

Professionally, I’ve worked across the industry as a production assistant, social video manager, associate producer, and on-camera personality, gaining hands-on experience at every stage of the storytelling process. From pitching and pre-production to interviewing, scripting, shooting, editing, and publishing, I understand how stories move — not just on broadcast, but across digital and social platforms.

Whether I’m behind the scenes or in front of the camera, I bring the same intention to my work: to inform, connect, and create stories that resonate beyond the screen.
